Hi Guys

Just realized I've neglected this blog for a wile and i thought I'd get back on it.

I absolutely love this application and I found myself using it more ofter than my new, high quality & expensive Canon :0/...Mad isn't it?!?!?!?!

Today I had the pleasure of spending some time with a great photographer in Macclesfield, Ilian Photography.

His work is amazing and I am hopefully going back to his studio next week for two days and possibly learn from him :0)

Self Portrait (Abstract)

Today I was inspired and I have decided to produce a series of abstract self portrait depicting either my moods, my thoughts, wishes or dreams.

I will relay on photoshop for this project and see how it goes.

I have tried something today but the project is still work in progress, however i will keep you updated from time to time :0)

The Moon Tonight

Hi everyone,

It's such a beautiful evening tonight that I could not help spending the past hour photographing the moon.

The first attempt is embarrassing actually but I will show you it anyway so You can see the progress I suppose :0) but don't laugh!!! lol

Here it is with a 70mm lens and no polarize filter on and on a tripod with a longish exposure (horrendous):

However after this one I thought I would change everything; I got a telephoto lens out (300mm) and a polarize filter, also got rid of the tripod and hand held the camera.

I bracketed the exposure a little, first a 60th of a sec. then a 90th but anyway eventually I got what I think is a much better shot and I am happy with it.

Hope you all like it too :0)...

I did sharpen it a little on Photoshop but not madly.

In The Woods

I have just been for a walk in the woods and thought I would take my camera with me.

I shot a few frames...nothing too brilliant but I thought I would upload them anyhow :0)

What a beautiful day though!!!!

Frozen Lake, Scotland.

I shot this photo in March 2010 wile on a trip through Scotland.

I am so pleased I went, I've had a lovely week and this was the most beautiful frozen lake I've ever seen!!!
